Care tip

Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, you should not leave the Petromax spoon in water for extended periods of time. Instead, clean it thoroughly with warm water and scouring powder. Then, stand it upright and let it air dry.

To ensure you enjoy your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time, please note the following: If the oil wears off due to use and cleaning, you can rub the spoon with hot, neutral-tasting vegetable oil or paraffin oil (paraffinum (per)liquidum). Let it soak in overnight and rub off any excess oil. You can repeat this treatment regularly.
