It doesn't get any greener: Primus gas from a sustainable source. CO²-neutral!

SIP* Power Gas is PRIMUS' most sustainable gas and has a positive impact on the CO2 balance and ensures greater sustainability by applying the principle of volume balancing and shortening transport routes.

For each SIP Power Gas cartridge, PRIMUS purchases biogas (derived from food waste) instead of fossil fuel. This guaranteed biogas comes from a Swedish production facility, which supplies the biogas to nearby distribution partners who use it directly in the production of local products. These partners certify that the amount of fuel contained in PRIMUS's SIP Power Gas cartridges matches the amount of biogas released onto the market.

By leveraging volume balancing and shifting production closer to their largest markets, PRIMUS shortens the transport routes for their fuels. The LCA shows that, as a result of this change, PRIMUS's SIP Power Gas has approximately 50% less climate impact than regular PRIMUS Power Gas.

All components of SIP Power Gas are sourced from Europe, close to PRIMUS's main markets—from the steel needed to produce the cartridge to the fuel itself. PRIMUS' SIP Power Gas is an all-round gas suitable for most outdoor cooking applications.
